The scheme is now called Wazir-e-Azam Apna Ghar Program, replacing Mera Ghar Mera Ashiana. Banks must finish credit approval within 15 working days of a complete application. Loans go up to Rs10 million at a flat 5%.

The ECC raised the maximum Mera Ghar Mera Ashiana loan to Rs10 million and cut the fixed rate from 8% to 5%. Homes up to 10 marla qualify. Banks had received over 10,594 applications and disbursed 344 loans.
