Punjab AI makes Punjab Government information easier to find. You can browse a directory of 427 entries across Punjab programmes, citizen services, government departments and a small source-cited People & Public Facts pilot, or ask a question in English, اردو or Roman Urdu.

How Ask Punjab answers

Your question is matched against the directory entries. Only the few most relevant entries are given to the AI, which is told to answer from them alone. If they don't cover your question, it says it couldn't verify the answer instead of guessing. Every answer lists its sources and links to the matching directory entries, so the AI and the directory never disagree.

Ask Punjab cannot submit applications, check your records or give legal advice. Don't type your CNIC, phone or bank details — they aren't needed. Questions are not linked to you and no chat history is kept.

If the optional Cloudflare Turnstile check is enabled, Cloudflare processes challenge and connection information to help protect Ask Punjab from automated abuse. This check is not a personal identity system.

Accuracy

340 entries cite a government website, 1 cite an institutional source, and 85 cite news or other third-party pages; each entry shows which. 329 entries have a recorded source check date. Current officeholder facts are time-sensitive and are dated to their last source check. Fees, eligibility and deadlines change often — confirm them with the relevant department before you apply.

Privacy

When usage analytics are switched on, Ask Punjab records the questions people ask (with email addresses, ID card numbers and phone numbers removed first), which directory entries were matched, and whether you pressed Helpful or Not helpful. This is used only to find and fix wrong or missing answers. It does not record your IP address or name and sets no tracking cookies. Please don't type personal details into the question box.

A part-time project, paid from my own pocket

Punjab AI is something I build in my spare time, as a student. It has no ads, no sponsors, no paid plan, and I have no plan to earn money from it. Hosting, the domain and the AI service that writes the answers all cost real money, and so far I pay for them myself. That is why the daily question limit exists: it keeps the service free for every visitor.
